Daniel Berg, Distinguished Research Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at UM’s College of Engineering and a member of the National Academy of Engineering, will present “2009: A Service Odyssey” on Monday, December 7 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. in the McArthur Engineering Annex, Room MEA 202. During this presentation, Berg, former provost, president, and professor at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, will cover the role of technology management in shaping the future of the services sector, including an emphasis on the need for contributions from the engineering community.
