The University of Miami’s Families First Network, sponsored by The Children’s Trust, is offering a free seminar for parents of children age birth through 5 years old. Parents will discuss ways to encourage positive behaviors, manage temper tantrums and other problem behaviors, and use positive discipline strategies effectively. Clinical psychologist Elana Mansoor will facilitate the seminar in English. The presentation takes place on Wednesday, December 2 from 12 to 1 p.m. at the Mailman Center for Child Development, eighth-floor conference room.
