Scientists and Engineers Expanding Diversity and Success (SEEDS) is sponsoring a Physiologist/Biophysicist Speaker and Mentoring Series beginning Thursday, October 21 at 4 p.m. in the Lois Pope LIFE Center Auditorium. This initial event features Diane Papazian, professor of physiology at UCLA, who will present “Voltage-gated Kv3.3 Potassium Channels in Spinocerebellar Ataxia Type 13.” Her seminar will be immediately followed by a mentoring event. This series is made possible by a SEEDS You Choose award to Laura Bianchi, assistant professor in the Department of Physiology and Biophysics.
