Join Team ’Canes 4 Autism at the first annual WalkAbout Autism fundraiser

The first annual Dan Marino Foundation WalkAbout Autism, a family fun day event with entertainment stations and attractions to benefit children and adults with autism living in South Florida, will be hosted by the University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD) and the Dan Marino Foundation on Saturday, January 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Sun Life Stadium in Miami Gardens. The Autism Societies of Miami-Dade and Broward Counties and the CARD Center at FAU also will host the event.

WalkAbout Autism will raise funds for programs serving children and adults living with autism, and their families in South Florida. The event will benefit local organizations that assist individuals with autism, including UM-NSU CARD.

Attendees will include Dan Marino, legendary Hall of Fame and Miami Dolphins quarterback; Rachel and Jeff Ireland, Miami Dolphins General Manager; Miami Dolphins alumni players; and community leaders.
