College of Engineering Distinguished Speaker Series: Brain Chemistry, Heart Physiology, and Cancer Revealed by Advances in Human Imaging Technologies

Thomas F. Budinger, a member of the Institute of Medicine and the National Academy of Engineering, will present “Brain Chemistry, Heart Physiology, and Cancer Revealed by Advances in Human Imaging Technologies” as part of the University of Miami College of Engineering’s Distinguished Speaker Series. Budinger’s presentation will focus on the use of molecular imaging methods of emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging and spectroscopy to evaluate Alzheimer’s disease, drug addiction, atherosclerosis, heart failure, and breast and prostate cancer. The seminar will take place on Tuesday, January 18 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. at Storer Auditorium, School of Business Administration, Jenkins Building.
