El Centro Conference: Eliminating Health Disparities by Addressing Sociocultural and Environmental Root Causes

The School of Nursing and Health Studies’ Center of Excellence for Health Disparities Research, El Centro, will host the conference “Eliminating Health Disparities by Addressing Sociocultural and Environmental Root Causes” on Friday, March 25, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at the M. Christine Schwartz Center for Nursing Education, Room 106. Panelists will include Karen Glanz, George A. Weiss University Professor in the Schools of Medicine and Nursing at the University of Pennsylvania, and Merrill Singer, senior research scientist at the Center for Health, Intervention, and Prevention and professor of anthropology at the University of Connecticut.
