Donated to the University of Miami’s Cuban Heritage Collection by the Campilli family in honor of Carlos Campilli, the Orichas Collection, on view in the lobby of the Richter Library through August 31, comprises a series of drawings by Cuban-born artist Alberto del Pozo (1946-1992) of the deities of Afro-Cuban Santería.

Original illustrations in pen, ink, and crayon are on display, along with signed and unsigned reproduction lithographs. These drawings bring to life several of the orichas in the Santería pantheon, using color and pattern with brilliant effect.
