The Leonard Turkel Nonprofit Networking Workshop Series begins Wednesday, September 25 with “New Partners, New Markets,” featuring representatives from the John S. and James L. Knight Foundation: Carol Coletta, vice president of communities and national initiatives; Tatiana Hernandez, arts program associate; and Chris Sopher, journalism program associate.
This year’s workshops follow themes from the groundbreaking book Forces for Good: The Six Practices of High-Impact Nonprofits. Participants will learn how to create high impact relationships that work for their organizations and those they serve.
The event will be held at the Newman Alumni Center, 6200 San Amaro Drive on the Coral Gables campus, from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m.
Future workshops include “Work Through Networks to Achieve Results” on October 9; “Create High Impact Funder-Nonprofit Partnerships” on November 13; and “Share Leadership to Achieve Results” on December 11.
