Are you interested in teaching? Consider volunteering for just a couple of hours at The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis’ 2014 Miami Brain Fair on Saturday, March 22. It’s a lot of fun and a terrific opportunity to teach and enhance your resume. The Miami Project will supply the teaching materials, exhibits, and activities; volunteer teachers just need to come and help teach basic neuroscience concepts to the public. You do NOT need specialized neuroscience knowledge since The Miami Project will provide  all of the information needed to teach kids.

The Brain Fair will run from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Museum of Science, 3280 South Miami Avenue, in Miami. Kids can touch and dissect a real brain, build a neuron, record from their own muscles, find out if they are super tasters, and much more. There are  lots of activities to fit anyone’s interests, so if you would like to volunteer at the Brain Fair, fill out the volunteer registration at www.themiamiproject.org/brainfair and return it by email to [email protected].
