The entire UC Food Court has closed for renovations and will remain closed through mid-August. But there will still be plenty of convenient dining options available across campus while Dining Services completes the second phase of its Dining Master Plan.

All the new venues added during Dining Services’ phase I renovations will operate on extended Monday through Friday hours. On the UC Patio, Lime Fresh Mexican Grill will open from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. At the Student Activities Center, M2O – Made to Order Deli and Salads will open from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Jamba Juice from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Starbucks from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.

At the Whitten University Center, the new “Outtakes” convenience store will open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. beginning on May 19.

The Courtside Eatery at the Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center also will be open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and on Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

In conjunction with Chartwells, Dining Services also will introduce a variety of local food and dessert trucks in the vicinity of the Food Court.

Mahoney-Pearson Dining Hall, which was renovated during phase I, will be open for breakfast Monday through Friday from 7  to 9 a.m., brunch on Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., lunch Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.,  and dinner Monday through Sunday from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. These hours will begin on June 9. Weekend hours will be dependent upon group bookings.

When the phase II renovations are completed this fall, faculty, staff, students, and visitors will see many new healthy food concepts along with decadent choices—in other words, something for everyone! New offerings at the Food Court will include a Subway, a full-scale Sushi Maki, Innovation Kitchen, Panda Express, and Pollo Tropical. “Tossed,” a salad concept, as well as “Built By The Counter,” a gourmet burger concept, are scheduled to open in spring 2015.
