The University of Miami-Nova Southeastern University Center for Autism and Related Disabilities (UM-NSU CARD) will host its 12th annual Tropical Nights gala on Saturday, May 10, at the InterContinental Miami to celebrate CARD’s ongoing excellence in serving South Florida families living with autism.

This year’s event will honor  Rod Wellens, chair of the Department of Psychology in the University of Miami College of Arts and Sciences. Five culturally diverse families who have moved to Miami to access CARD services also will share their stories, and guests will enjoy fine dining, dancing, and live and silent auctions.

Gala tickets are $250 per person. Sponsorship and underwriting opportunities are available. Tropical Nights also will feature a raffle of a Vespa LX50; raffle tickets are $50 each or three for $100. Raffle tickets are on sale now, and the winner does not need to be present at the event.
