The Places and Spaces Exhibit (PSE) team is offering all graduate students and postdocs at the University of Miami an ideal opportunity to publicize their work by creating an infographic and presenting it in front of an audience. Graduate students or postdocs will be featured as opening presenters for eight speaker events scheduled around the Places and Spaces Exhibit, which is coming to UM this fall. The PSE team will select two students per event.

Participating is easy. Participants must create a unique, innovative visualization image of their data. Any type of data is allowed. The visualization has to be accurate, creative, and informative. After obtaining approval from their mentor or PI, participants are asked to submit their entry to [email protected] with their name, department, PI, and a one-sentence description of the entry. The PSE team will verify the details submitted and refer it to the PSE committee. Selected students will get three minutes to project their visualization on screen and describe it.

Deadlines for entries are the last Friday of every month starting now and running through November 28.
