Starting an exercise routine is not always easy, which is why the University of Miami offers the Supervised Exercise Program for UM faculty and staff. If you are not currently exercising and would like to start a workout routine under the supervision of a trained professional, you may be eligible to participate in a new program recently launched by the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center.

The Supervised Exercise Program is designed to help improve your health and cardiovascular fitness as well as provide you with the necessary tools to make the routine part of your lifestyle. The program, which allows participants to earn Well ’Canes Incentives points, is open to UM faculty, staff, and their spouses or same-sex domestic partners. You do not have to be a current member of the UM wellness center to participate. For more information and eligibility details, click here or contact the UHealth Fitness and Wellness Center at 305-243-7602 or at [email protected].
