The first Faculty Senate meeting hosted by President Julio Frenk on the Miller School of Medicine campus will take place on Wednesday, September 30 at 3:30 p.m. in the Lois Pope LIFE Center, 7th-floor auditorium.

All UM faculty members are invited to attend and to take advantage of this special opportunity to ask questions and to voice their concerns directly to President Frenk.

Although the president hosts only one Faculty Senate meeting every fall and spring semester, this meeting gives President Frenk the opportunity to continue the Listening Exercise initiative that he introduced at his September 10 Town Hall meeting at the BankUnited Center on the Coral Gables campus.

Unlike a Faculty Senate business meeting, meetings that are hosted by the president have no set agenda and provide UM faculty members with a chance to meet with the president in a smaller setting.

For more information about the Senate, its representatives, and meeting information, visit the Faculty Senate website.
