Students who want to help improve the way government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and educational institutions serve the public should consider applying for the Harry S. Truman Scholarship.
The Truman Scholarship provides up to $30,000 in funding to students pursuing graduate degrees in all types of public service fields. Students must be college juniors at the time of selection and must have demonstrated interest and potential for careers in government, education, or the nonprofit and advocacy sectors. The Truman Foundation also provides assistance with career counseling, internship placement, graduate school admissions, and professional development.
