Miami-Dade Transit and the Miami-Dade Parks, Recreation and Open Spaces Departments, in partnership with Friends of The Underline, will hold a public meeting on Monday, November 9, from 6 to 8 p.m. in the  School of Architecture’s Glasgow Hall to present The Underline’s master plan, framework, and design proposals for two demonstration projects in the Brickell and University of Miami areas. The meeting will be led by The Underline’s master plan design team, James Corner Field Operations.

The Underline is a 10-mile stretch of biking and pedestrian trails and park spaces proposed for the transit department’s right of way beneath the county’s Metrorail, between the Miami River north of Brickell and Dadeland South stations. The project’s vision is to enhance connectivity, mobility, and biking safety for hundreds of thousands of Miami-Dade residents and visitors.

For more information, view the flyer, contact Mark Heinicke at 305-755-7811, or visit theunderline.org.
