The period for effort certification, which is required for faculty, staff, and graduate students whose salary was supported (wholly or partially) via a sponsored account, begins Monday, November 23, and will remain open for 60 days.

Sponsored individuals, called certifiers, are responsible for certifying their effort for the certification period from April 2015 through October 2015 using the Effort Certification and Reporting Technology (ECRT) system. Effort coordinators are responsible for processing effort statements and correcting discrepancies.

Information sessions for both certifiers and effort coordinators are available on the Coral Gables and medical campuses, with registration available through ULearn, using either Certifier or Coordinator as the keyword.

If you have any questions regarding the training, email the Office of Research Administration at [email protected]. For help with the ECRT system, contact Maria Wadsworth at 305-284-4054 or Gloria Gari at 305-284-4088.
