UM Information Technology (UMIT), which is in the process of consolidating the University’s wireless networks, removed the UHealth wireless network from the Coral Gables and Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science campuses, making SecureCanes the University’s secure wireless network of record. (The UHealth network will be removed from the Miller School  campus at a later date.) The SecureCanes network provides the same speed, security, and connectivity as the UHealth network. If you previously used the UHealth wireless network, you need to connect to the SecureCanes network and remove the UHealth network from your device(s).

If you experience any issues connecting to SecureCanes or removing the UHealth network from your device(s), please contact the UMIT Service Desk at 305-284-6565 or [email protected].
