This Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) seminar is offered as a basic primer for those who are brand new to mindfulness. It serves to review the basic tenets of mindfulness, to understand the significance of mindful living, and to guide participants through a mindfulness practice. Being mindful increases engagement with the present moment and allows for a clearer understanding of how thoughts and emotions impact our health and the quality of our lives.
