Compliance and Ethics Week to Feature Seminars, Carnival-Themed Information Fairs

    Learn about the University of Miami’s various compliance, ethics, and risk management initiatives during University Compliance Services’ inaugural Compliance and Ethics Week, Monday through Friday, November 7-11. The weeklong series of events on each UM campus will feature carnival-themed informational fairs where different UM departments, such as the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program, Office of Research Administration, and Environmental Health and Safety, will distribute information on and answer questions about their programs and responsibilities as they relate to compliance and ethics.

    Food, games, giveaways, and drawings also will be featured at the carnivals, which will be held from 12 to 3 p.m. at these locations on the following days:

    Monday, November 7
    Coral Gables campus
    Foote University Green

    Tuesday, November 8
    Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science
    Breezeway (In front of the Library)

    Friday, November 11
    Miller School of Medicine campus
    Schoninger Research Quadrangle

    In addition, Compliance and Ethics Week will feature free seminars on the Coral Gables and Miller School campuses. See the schedule below.
