‘Walk and Talk’ with UM’s First Lady on International Women’s Day

    UM Felicia Knaul Final 2Join Dr. Felicia Marie Knaul, UM’s first lady and the director of the University of Miami Institute for Advanced Study of the Americas, in a conversation on Wednesday, March 8, about how each and every one of us can accelerate global, national, and local work to achieve gender equality through  bold, pragmatic action.

    “Step it Up” for women in the changing world of work and gender equality toward a Planet 50-50 by 2030 (#Planet5050by2030) on International Women’s Day 2017.

    Faculty, staff, and students are invited to “Meet and Greet” at Rock Plaza, across from the bookstore,, at 5:30 p.m., and then “Walk and Talk” with Dr. Knaul around Lake Osceola. Upon return to Rock Plaza, there will be more discussion and a tablet giveaway. Walkers will receive an International Women’s Day 2017 commemorative T-shirt (while supplies last). Light refreshments and snacks.
