Buying Your First Home

    This lunchtime seminar, hosted by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP), is offered for first-time home buyers. Buying your first home can be an exciting and intimidating process. Our presenter, Eric Johnson, housing assistance programs administrator for the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust, will provide information regarding the government programs, grants, and funds available for low- to moderate-income first-time home buyers in Miami-Dade County. Johnson will offer an overview of how home buyers may qualify and shop for a mortgage, as well as distribute valuable materials and website information to simplify this process.

    Rosenstiel campus: Tuesday, March 7, 12-1 p.m., Library Media room

    Coral Gables campus: Wednesday, March 8, 12-1 p.m., McKnight Building, room 201AB

    Miller School campus:  Thursday, March 9, 12-1 p.m., Don Soffer Clinical Research Center, room 692
