Neuromuscular Research Lab Seeks Type 2 Diabetics for Yoga Study

    The University of Miami’s Laboratory of Neuromuscular Research is seeking participants for a research study examining the effects of yoga on early-stage neuropathy (nerve problems) associated with type 2 diabetes.

    To participate, you must be a man or woman between 35 and 85 years of age, with type 2 diabetes and numbness or tingling in the feet, legs, arms, or hands. Volunteers will receive free blood work assessments and free yoga classes three times a week for 12 weeks at one of the top yoga studios in the Coral Gables/ South Miami area.
