Sponsored by the Religious Diversity Working Group on the University’s Standing Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, the inaugural Religion Awareness Day will take place from noon to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19 at The Rock. This new student-run initiative will bring members of the University’s religious community together to educate the broader community about the key tenets of their respective faiths, perform a short activity, and dispel myths and misconceptions. Pizza will be provided and religious organizations will have the option to provide a small snack related to their faith at each table.
