This lunchtime seminar is offered for those interested in overcoming procrastination by cultivating self-compassion. Chronic procrastination often triggers negative self-evaluations, recriminations and ruminations, which often leads to increased levels of stress and anxiety, and down a negative spiral. This seminar will assist participants by exploring how learning to be gentler and more understanding with oneself can empower one to take action and move forward. This seminar will be facilitated by a UM Faculty and Staff Assistance Program consultant.
