ToyDriveThe Miami Hurricanes Holiday Gift Drive, which is coordinated by the Butler Center for Service and Leadership and the Division of Student Affairs, is underway through Wednesday, December 6.

Individuals and departments can help the U surpass the more than 600 toys and gifts students, staff, faculty, and administrators collected last year for deserving South Florida children and senior citizens by doing one or all of the following:

    1)  Drop off new and unused toys and gifts to the University Center Lower Lounge or the Butler Center for Service and Leadership (SC 204).

    2)  Become a sponsor of the program through a monetary contribution. The Butler Center will purchase gifts on your department’s behalf.

    3)  Request to host your own collection bin in your department to encourage giving from your colleagues. The Butler Center will be happy to provide one for your department.

This year, gifts will be donated to the Home Instead Senior Care, Hope for Miami, Just Kids Centers, Inc., and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine Department of Pediatrics.

If you’re  interested in getting involved with the Miami Hurricanes Holiday Gift Drive, and/or if you have any questions, please contact the Butler Center for Service and Leadership at [email protected] or call 305-284-4483.
