Please expect elevated traffic on Thursday, December 14, while the fall semester continues and the Watsco Center hosts the University’s undergraduate fall Commencement ceremony from  10 a.m. to noon and the graduate ceremony from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Commencement guests will utilize the yellow lots, Merrick Garage and Pavia Garage, and traffic is expected to be heavier than usual two hours before the start of each ceremony, and two hours after.

Due to Hurricane Irma, fall classes will continue through Wednesday, December 20, so there will be even more traffic than usual on Commencement Day.  As a result, parking color zone restrictions will be lifted on December 14,  with the exception of blue and purple zones. Feel free to utilize other parking lots around the campus and allow extra time for your commute.

For questions, contact Parking and Transportation at 305-284 3096, option 2. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
