The  Office of Emergency Management will debut its new safety training class, All-Hazards Response Training: Safety in 60 Minutes, on Wednesday, January 31, from 3 to 4 p.m. in the Whitten Learning Center, room 170.

Open to all, this one-hour foundational training provides key emergency response information for the most common hazards we face at the University of Miami, empowering attendees with highly actionable response steps that can be rapidly implemented during any emergency situation.

There is no cost to attend, but there is an extra incentive besides learning to remain safe: Attendees who are enrolled in the Well ‘Canes program will receive 100 Well ‘Canes points for completing the class.

Register on ULearn by searching for “All Hazards,” or by emailing the Office of Emergency Management at [email protected] or calling 305-284-8005 during normal business hours.  To book a class for your area, please contact John Gulla at [email protected] or call 305-284-8005.
