    CookingCORAL GABLES, Fla. (March 8, 2018) – Are you a cooking aficionado or simply looking to brush up on your cooking skills? The Patti and Allan Herbert Wellness Center has a new cooking class lineup just for you. Join award-winning chef Robyn Webb, on Saturdays, March 24, and April 7, 14, and 21 as she offers an introduction into the essential cooking techniques of iconic dishes from a variety of cuisines.

    March 24: The Bold Flavors of Seafood

    From roasting to poaching to grilling and stir-frying, learn the simple art of preparing succulent, healthy fish. By the end of this class, you’ll learn the best techniques to put seafood on your home menu more often.

    April 21: Making Vegetables Taste Great

    You know you should eat them, but just how do you make vegetables taste great? This class will give you all the nuts and bolts on how to draw out the deep flavors vegetables naturally have. You’ll learn a variety of master techniques to prepare great cold salads and salad dressings, to roasting, steaming, and stir-frying garden fresh veggies.

    April 7, 14: Flavors of Morocco and Italy

    For all of the world travelers out there, we have a class for you. Join us for a two-part cooking series on April 7 and April 14 while we learn to cook some of the most flavorful cuisines on earth, Italian and Moroccan. Enjoy the experience of cooking food from around the world and take these experiences back to your home to share.

    “Our cooking series is a great way to sample creations, explore new recipes and learn to prepare healthy menu items,” says Christina WooChing, assistant director of wellness. “Gather a group of friends and share in this culinary experience.”
