Effective Monday, August 20, 2018, parking enforcement hours at the Gables Campus and Gables One Tower will expand to seven days a week and from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The license plates of all vehicles parked on campus during these hours will be required to be registered with the University. There will be no change for current daytime campus parkers—daytime permits are valid 24/7 in the assigned parking zone, and in any other zone after 4 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on the weekend.

Current University of Miami constituents who do not have a parking permit but who park on the Gables campus after 4 p.m. on weeknights, and on the weekends, will be able to purchase a night and weekend permit. The permit fees will be waived through the 2018-2019 academic year, but vehicle license plates will still need to be registered with a valid permit.

Read more about the changes for night and weekend parking enforcement and permits in this announcement.

As is customary during the pending summer, parking zone restrictions will be lifted beginning Monday, April 30, until Sunday, August 19, for all zones except UV garages, Purple, Gables One Tower, and reserved lots. Limited shuttle service will also begin during this time.
