The seasonal flu vaccine will not protect against the H1N1 influenza virus. A separate vaccine is being developed for H1N1, but it is expected to be available in late fall—and only in limited supply based on criteria as defined by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Note: UM/Aetna members may receive free seasonal flu vaccinations at the following locations: Walmart, Publix, Target, Costco, MinuteClinic (only in participating CVS locations), TakeCare Clinic (only in participating Walgreens locations), Your Aetna physician’s office, UM Employee Health Office events, and the UM Benefits Fair.
