Mar
27
10:00 am

A fundraiser for the Green Mobility Network occurs at the Bill Cosford Cinema on Saturday, March 27 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Attend a screening of Livable Cities and Safe Streets, featuring ways to make our cities more friendly to bicyclists, pedestrians, and runners. See how other cities are doing it: Curitiba, Brazil; Denver, Colorado; Portland, Oregon; New York City. Plus, see new short films by local bicyclist and filmmaker Tony Blazejack.

Admission is $10 and includes food and beverages before and after the films. Free to anyone who joins Green Mobility Network at the event. There will be a silent auction and free bike valet. RSVP on our Facebook Events page (“Livable Cities & Safe Streets”)—seating on a first-come, first-served basis. For information, e-mail [email protected]. Sponsors and cooperating partners (partial list) include the School of Architecture, American Institute of Architecture Students, Fresh Market Coconut Grove, Coral Gables Gazette, City of Miami Commissioner Marc Sarnoff, Miami-Dade Commissioner Carlos Gimenez, and Mack Cycle & Fitness.
