David Nimmer, professor of practice at UCLA Law School, will present “In Search of Copyright’s Lost Ark” on Wednesday, January 26 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Learning Center, Room 170.

As co-author of Nimmer on Copyright, Nimmer has found his words quoted in more than 3,000 judicial opinions. The United States Supreme Court has cited Nimmer on Copyright on numerous occasions, as has every federal appellate court, countless district and state courts, and courts confronting copyright cases across the globe. He has taught at UCLA Law School for many years and has represented clients in the entertainment, publishing, and high-technology fields.
