A day after Jackson Health System’s Financial Review Board unanimously approved its new Annual Operating Agreement with the Miller School of Medicine, Jackson CEO Carlos Migoya, left, and Miller School Dean Pascal J. Goldschmidt, who is also senior vice president for medical affairs and CEO of UHealth, add their signatures to the 53-page document on August 17, making it official. Steven Falcone, chief executive of the University of Miami at Jackson Memorial Hospital, said in a statement to news media that the University was pleased and honored to strengthen its longstanding relationship with Jackson, which makes possible the delivery of the highest standard of care to all patients, regardless of their ability to pay.
