Are You Ready to Buy Your First Home?

    If you are a first-time home buyer, the process can be both exciting and intimidating.  A lunchtime seminar, titled “Are You Ready to Buy Your First Home?” and led by Eric Johnson, housing assistance programs administrator for the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust, will provide information about government programs, grants, and funds available for first-time home buyers, as well as valuable materials and information for low and moderate income home buyers to qualify and shop wisely for their mortgage.

    Coral Gables campus:  Tuesday, January 28, noon to 1 p.m., at the Whitten University Center, Room 245
    Miller Medical School campus:  Wednesday, January 29, noon to 1 p.m., at Dominion Parking Garage, Room 155
    RSMAS campus:  Thursday, January 30, noon to 1 p.m., in the Library, Media Room

    This seminar is hosted by the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP). FSAP Health and Wellness seminars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ’Canes Program.
