This Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FSAP) seminar is offered for first-time home buyers. Buying your first home can be an exciting and intimidating process. The presenter, Eric Johnson, administrator for Housing Assistance Programs for the Miami-Dade Economic Advocacy Trust, will provide information regarding the government programs, grants, and funds available for low- to moderate-income first-time home buyers in Miami-Dade County. He will offer an overview of how homebuyers may qualify and shop for a mortgage, as well as distribute valuable materials and website information to simplify this process. FSAP Health and Wellness seminars are offered as part of the University of Miami’s Well ’Canes Program.
