Effective Monday, August 6, the University of Miami identification card (’Cane Card) operation for the Coral Gables campus will be relocated from Allen Hall to the Department of Parking and Transportation, located on the first floor of the Flipse Building at 5665 Ponce de Leon Boulevard.

The ’Cane Card is the official on-campus identification card of the University of Miami. All students, faculty, and staff, as well as other members of the UM community, are required to carry a ’Cane Card for identification purposes while on campus. Anyone who needs a ’Cane Card, whether it be a new or replacement card, should be directed to the Department of Parking and Transportation between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding official University holidays. For more information, including details on who is eligible to obtain a ’Cane Card and a list of frequently asked questions, please click here.
