The University of Miami Center for Hemispheric Policy will host a program with former Colombian President Álvaro Uribe Vélez, now a senator, at the Newman Alumni Center on Friday, November 6. He will be introduced by UM President Julio Frenk. Registration and continental breakfast opens at 8 a.m, and the presentation, which will be in Spanish, and discussion, begin at 8:15 a.m. The program fee is $40, but UM employees and students with valid ID may attend for free.
