USPORT—the Sport Administration program’s undergraduate student association—is hosting the inaugural University of Miami Sport Industry Conference on Friday and Saturday, April 15 and 16.
Day one of the conference will feature five panels made up of leading sport industry experts, including Steph Curry’s marketing agent, the director of salary cap and agent administration for the NFLPA, and the Miami Heat’s chief marketing officer, who will examine some of the industry’s most pressing issues. Day two of the conference will feature a career fair, where attendees can engage and network with representatives of national and local sports brands, including ESPN.
Students, including UOnline Administration Master Students, can purchase a limited number of tickets at a 50 percent discount. Additionally, five student winners of the University of Miami Sport Industry Conference Essay Contest will receive free tickets to both days of the conference. Other attendees can enjoy a 15 percent registration discount by using the code “Sebastian.”
