The University’s newest leaders are invited to attend a New Leader Orientation (NLO) workshop, sponsored by Workforce Engagement and Development, on Tuesday, March 29 at the Newman Alumni Center from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This one-day session will give new leaders the opportunity to learn about the University’s leadership expectations and strategies for successfully transitioning into leadership at the U. They will explore the processes and resources needed to lead their teams and manage day-to-day operations.

Whether you have just joined UM or worked here previously and have been promoted into a supervisory position, the information covered in NLO will help you navigate your way through the transition.

This workshop is recommended for managers who have been in their position for six months or less. Space is limited.
