Have you considered traveling to work on two wheels instead of four? To encourage Miami-Dade County residents to give bicycle commuting a chance, the county’s Bike305 is hosting its annual Bike to Work Day Friday, March 4, beginning at 8 a.m. at the University Metrorail Station. Grab some refreshments and join Miami-Dade County Mayor Carlos A. Gimenez for a group ride in support of green transit. The University of Miami’s Green U program will be on hand with information on sustainability and ways the University supports bike commuters.

For information about all of UM’s commuter options, including a form that matches you with other employees who bike to UM, visit get2um.com. If you have any questions about joining or organizing a UM Bike Train, contact [email protected].
