Take part in National Mentoring Month this January by learning about the School-To-Work Program at the University of Miami. Big Brothers Big Sisters will host a special lunchtime information session on the life-changing program from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 17.

Since 2013 UM and Big Brothers Big Sisters have partnered to match local high school students with mentors at the University. By investing only four hours per month during the work week, UM mentors are making a positive and lasting impact on the lives of local children. In fact, 99.66 percent of students who participate in a Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Miami-Dade County are promoted to their next grade level.*

During the session, you’ll hear from local Big Brothers Big Sisters representatives and UM mentors about the program and enjoy light refreshments. RSVP now by emailing [email protected].
