The Women’s Commission invites you to its last book group meeting of the academic year on Friday, April 27, from noon to 1 p.m. at the Counseling Center, where members will discuss a New York Times Notable Book, Mischling, by best-selling author Affinity Konar. Set in a concentration camp during World War II, this riveting historical novel explores the bond between identical twin girls who face daunting obstacles they must overcome to survive.

Members of the University community are invited to review the book, meet some new or old friends, and bring a brown bag lunch, if they wish.

To attend, please RSVP to Mari-Carmen Saumell at [email protected] as space will be limited. To learn more about the Women’s Commission, visit http://wcommission.miami.edu/.
