Christine Whitman, former EPA head and N.J. governor, to speak on Wednesday

Christine Todd WhitmanChristine Todd Whitman, former New Jersey governor and administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), will speak to the University community on Wednesday, March 4 at 4 p.m. in the Learning Center, room 170.
 
Presented by the Division of Student Affairs and the Office of the President, Whitman will discuss key environmental issues in the 21st century. Whitman served in the cabinet of President George W. Bush as EPA head from January 2001 until June 2003. She was New Jersey’s first woman governor, serving from 1994 to 2001. Whitman is now president of The Whitman Strategy Group (WSG), a consulting firm specializing in energy and environmental issues. WSG offers a comprehensive set of innovative solutions to businesses, organizations, and governments facing environmental challenges.
