The Department of Cell Biology and Anatomy will host a bake sale on Wednesday, October 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in front of the Rosenstiel Building. All proceeds will benefit the United Way.

The Offices of General Counsel, Internal Audit, and Board of Trustees will sponsor the Eighth Annual United Way Bake Sale in the Gables One lobby and lower level elevators on Monday, October 12 from 8 a.m. until all the goodies are sold!

The Third Annual Simon Salz Memorial Concert presents special guest artist Nestor Torres, featuring the University of Miami Frost School of Music Young Musicians’ Camp Honors Jazz Ensemble, directed by Ira Sullivan. The concert takes place on Wednesday, July 15 at 7 p.m. at Gusman Concert Hall on the Coral Gables campus.

All proceeds support the camp scholarship fund to enable talented young instrumentalists and vocalists, ages 7 to 18, to attend the Young Musicians’ Camp. The camp, now celebrating its tenth anniversary, has an enrollment of more than 300 students from the United States, the Caribbean, Central and South America, and Europe.
