The Division of Continuing and International Education and Kaplan Test Preparation will host a workshop for parents and students on Saturday, May 2 from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in Allen Hall. The workshop will focus on preparation for the SAT or ACT, financing a college education, application essay writing tips, and will include a question-and-answer session with one of UM’s own admission officers. The University of Miami’s Division of Continuing and International Education-Koubek Center announces spring courses toward a Certificate in Healthcare Management: KBK269 Managing People and Developing Strategies, Monday, April 6 to Monday, May 4; and KBK270 Strategic Planning, Wednesday, April 8 to Wednesday, May 6. The full certificate consists of eight courses at $525 per course. This non-credit program is designed for people who work or want to work in hospitals, managing health care organizations, medical offices, nursing agencies, and nursing homes. The program offers training in health care service administration.
