University of Miami law professor Caroline Corbin will present “Ceremonial Deism and the Reasonable Religious Outsider” at a UM School of Law faculty seminar on Wednesday, September 30. Lunch will be served at 12 p.m. in the faculty conference room, Room G480, on the fourth floor of the law library. The talk will start at 12:35 p.m., and Q&A will end by 1:50 p.m. Space is available for a small number of students. To attend the lunch and the seminar, RSVP to Detra Davis at [email protected]. Priority will be given to those who reply earliest. Copies of Corbin’s paper are available outside Room G382.

Medical Development is hosting a happy hour in support of the UM United Way Campaign on Wednesday, September 30 from 5 to 7 p.m. The University Restaurant and Patio, 1050 NW 14th Street (next to the CRB), will donate 35 percent of its proceeds to the United Way. The Miami Project to Cure Paralysis will present a seminar on Wednesday, September 30 from 9 to 10 a.m. in the Lois Pope LIFE Center, seventh-floor auditorium. Edelle C. This exhibit of photographs of buildings at Florida Southern College, taken by photographer Robin Hill, represents the largest integrated collection of Wright structures in the world, built between 1938 and 1959. Sponsored by the World Monuments Fund, the photographs were included in the Guggenheim Museum’s recent show Frank Lloyd Wright: From Within Outward. The series will also be included in the upcoming Guggenheim Museum Bilbao exhibit from October 23 through February 14.
Hill will be a guest lecturer next week on Wednesday, September 30 at 6 p.m. in the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center, Glasgow Hall, followed by a tour of the exhibit.
The exhibit will be open in the Irvin Korach Gallery in the Jorge M. Perez Architecture Center through Sunday, October 11. The exhibition is free and open to the public and is available for viewing Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
