The Center for Latin American Studies and the Voces Outreach present a free screening of the documentary Celia the Queen on Thursday, September 10 at 7 p.m. at the Cosford Cinema. The screening will be followed by a question-and-answer session with director Joe Cardona. Celia The Queen documents the life and times of legendary alto Celia Cruz, an exile from Castro’s Cuba whose collaborations with Tito Puente, Johnny Pacheco, and New York’s famed Fania label built the foundations of salsa and Latin pop. The film includes archival clips, Cruz’s surviving musical costars, candid moments with Cruz herself, and interviews with everyone from Quincy Jones and David Byrne to avid Japanese salsa aficionados. Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

Highlighting how this system will help you manage your patients, this hands-on module includes discussions on patient enrollment, patient status management, and patient calendars.
