The School of Business Administration has unveiled a multimedia website featuring insight on “The Business of Health Care” from some of the nation’s most prominent industry and government leaders. The website, www.umglobalforum.com, offers dozens of videos, session papers, and other materials produced as part of the University’s 2011 Global Business Forum, which was organized by the school.
The website includes keynote presentations by U.S. Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius; FDA Commissioner Margaret Hamburg; Jeffrey R. Immelt, chairman and CEO of General Electric; Arthur Agatston, author of The South Beach Diet; and James D. Forbes, global principal investments executive for Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
The website also includes papers and videos on more than 30 panel discussions, which featured such national industry leaders as Cecil B. Wilson, president of the American Medical Association; Richard J. Umbdenstock, president and CEO of the American Hospital Association; and Richard L.
