Art and Art History Faculty Members to Present Their Works at Annual Exhibition

From ceramics and sculpture to painting and photography, the works of faculty members from the Department of Art and Art History will be on display at the College of Arts and Sciences Gallery, 1210 Stanford Drive, Coral Gables campus, from Wednesday, September 21 to Friday, October 28. In celebration of the exhibition’s opening, a reception for the artists will be held on Friday, September 23 from 6 to 9 p.m. Other viewing times can be arranged by appointment.

This year’s exhibition will include the works of faculty members Lani Shapton (printmaking), Brian Curtis (drawing), Lamia Khorshid (photography), Kyle Trowbridge (painting), and many more. Works on display include photography, sculpture, prints, ceramics, painting, drawing, and video.

Regular hours for the College of Arts and Sciences Gallery are Tuesday through Friday from 12 to 4 p.m. A full schedule of exhibitions can be viewed at www.as.miami.edu/art. Also, don’t forget to view the works of students, faculty, and alumni at the University of Miami Wynwood Project Space, 2200-A NW 2nd Avenue, Miami, every second Saturday during the monthly gallery walk.
